Satellite® order picking system
The high-density Satellite® storage system with integrated tunnel and Satellite® order picking has already shown itself to be an efficient, space-saving and economical solution.
The storage and retrieval vehicle (SRV) processes storage and retrieval jobs for the high-bay warehouse simultaneously and also for the picking points in the order picking zone, working separately for A, B and C articles.
Specification Satellite® order picking system
- Frequently requested A articles are placed in gravity roller tracks in predetermined channels at the tunnel order picking zone.
- B and C articles are transported to computer-defined picking points (dynamic channels) by Satellite® and temporarily made available.
- After order picking for a job has been completed, any B or C articles no longer required are automatically returned to the high-bay warehouse by Satellite®.
