Market benefits through an awareness of quality
Order-related, customised production and goods provision calls for a continuous, intelligent and flexible logistics system that caters for the investor's requirements in terms of cost efficiency and return with its individual design. A challenge, especially for logistics – innovative automation solutions from Westfalia are:
- cost-efficient, due to high transparency and acceleration of order processes
- flexible, as units are designed according to branch-specific conditions
- improved quality, due to compliance of logistical system requirements with statutory provisions
Practical example: Richard Hengstenberg GmbH & Co. KG – Bad Friedrichshall

Quality assurance as part of the continuous improvement process encompassing all areas of the company: that is the corporate philosophy of this tinned goods manufacturer. Double Satellite®: Twice the speed

The higher of these two warehouse levels is equipped with two storage and retrieval vehicles running on a rail. They were provided with double chain Satellites®, which each simultaneously convey two pallets one after the other, so significantly boosting the storage and retrieval capacity more...
