Savanna.NET® material flow control functions are used to directly control real-time activities of automated material flow systems (e.g. system control and movement optimisation for retrieval). With Savanna, such functions can be enabled or disabled as needed by selecting the relevant modules. This flexible, customisable and scalable approach allows your company to implement an integrated warehouse management and material flow control solution, while only using the functionality needed at the time. Subsequent complete integration and expansion of automated elements within your system is also a possibility.

Savanna.NET® determines transport requirements for pallets and then takes the necessary steps based on an internal standard interface to the warehouse management modules. The best pallets at the time are selected as per the requirement for short transport routes and other flexible criteria in order to ensure the most efficient preparation of goods for shipment.
Savanna.NET®, as a material flow control system, is the brain of materials handling. Depending on requirements, the material flow control can be supplemented with storage space management through the .store module. All necessary strategies for smooth pallet transport are integrated as well as the management of multiple transports, avoidance and emergency strategies, consideration of transport sequences, etc.

Diagnostics, backups and visualisation in one

Using the .maint maintenance module, machine data from automated elements is collected, processed and displayed for intelligent diagnosis of the state of the system.  Long-term storage is ensured via a history database. Long-term storage is ensured via the statistics database. In the optional .show visualisation module, the system state is graphically illustrated at a glance. Pallets are visually tracked at all stages of their transport through the warehouse. The visualisation can be used to take action within the material flow at any time in order to respond flexibly and quickly to external influences.
