Borgholzhausen/Nuremberg, July 18, 2022 – Westfalia Logistics Solutions Europe welcomes visitors to FACHPACK this time at stand 4-160 (Hall 4). From September 27th to 29th, the German intralogistics specialist will be presenting its sustainable, efficient technologies for warehouse automation in the packaging industry and other industries at the European trade fair for packaging, technology and processes in the Exhibition Center Nuremberg.
This includes space-saving raw material and paper roll storage, automated intermediate storage for cut-to-size and semi-finished goods for production supply achieving cheaper and more flexible production, as well as automated storage of finished goods for logistics bundling and automatic (un)loading of trucks. The focus is on the material-friendly handling of cut-to-size, semi-finished and finished goods and the high-density storage of bulky, heavy goods with and without load carriers.
The particularly material-friendly satellite® technology protects material and loading aids at high throughput. The satellite® load handling device stores the goods in a space-saving manner for maximum capacity in a minimum of space in multi-deep storage channels. These are equipped with special profiles. If necessary, these profiles are designed in such a way that they additionally support loading aids. In this way, pallets do not sag, are subjected to less stress and can be used for longer. This also avoids the risk of malfunctions and downtimes. Westfalia customers consistently rely on triple support when poor pallet quality meets high payloads.
In many industries such as food, beverages, packaging or corrugated cardboard with large and heavy batches with a medium variety of types, which often do not have to be stored and retrieved according to the FIFO principle, the multi-deep high-density storage systems from Westfalia have proven themselves for decades. High flexibility and a particularly high degree of space utilization, also for the compact bundling of complex material flows, are among the most important advantages.
Westfalia plans, implements and modernizes automated storage and logistics systems.
